Hello and welcome to the Physical Education department of Havana Magnet School. I am delighted that you have decided to visit my "playground".
I am a native of Quincy, Gadsden County, Florida. Throughout my childhood, I have always been involved in sports and activities; so choosing a career in Physical Education was an easy decision. I enjoy both indoor and outdoor recreational activities and my favorite sport is volleyball. I excelled in that sport and was blessed to receive a 4 year athletic scholarship to play at and attend THE Florida A&M University. GO RATTLERS! My other favorite pastimes are reading, listening to music, fishing, watching football, watching and coaching volleyball, and also traveling.
My mission as a Physical Educator is to offer students a safe environment in which to develop and or enhance their physical, mental and social "life" skills through indoor and outdoor games and activities.
I firmly believe that participation in physical activities creates a well-rounded child, who is a happy, healthy and wholesome individual with unlimited opportunities for continuous growth and learning.
